Abu Dhabi Fund for Development Allocates US$80 Million for Water Sector Project in Argentina

Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), the leading national entity for international development aid, today approved US$80 million (AED294 million) in funding to contribute to the economic development of Argentina through supporting a project to fortify the water sector in the province of Santa Fe.

Environment Business Council Holds First Meeting of 2019 with Focus on Ecotourism

His Excellency Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, chaired the first meeting of the Environment Business Council in 2019. The event took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) in Dubai under the theme ‘Ecotourism – Economic Opportunities to Preserve the Environment’.

The meeting drew the participation of government officials as well as several major tourism players in the UAE.
