DEWA’s Smart Centre achieves remarkable results in strengthening adoption rate of smart services

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) Smart Centre has achieved remarkable results with growth in smart adoption increasing from 64% in 2015 to 70% in 2016. Customer trust increased from 86% to 93%, and customer happiness also increased from 85% to 94%. DEWA’s Smart Centre was launched as part of the Customer Happiness Centre.

    Ericsson, SK Telecom and BMW Group Korea have broken a world record for 5G speeds in a follow-up to the 5G trials announced in November 2016. On a racetrack in Yeonjong-do, South Korea, a high-performance network connection supported data transmission from point-to-point from a car driving more than 160 kilometers per hour.
