Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has concluded its successful participation in the 5th Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition (DIGAE), which was held from 2-4 April 2017 under the theme ‘National Governments… Global Achievements’. DEWA’s stand attracted many visitors who commended its innovative projects and initiatives, and actively took part in discussions, lectures, and workshops that were organised by DEWA and supervised by specialists, experts, and media figures.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the stand of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) at the 5th Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition (DIGAE). HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reviewed the latest developments in clean energy projects, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, which is the largest single-site solar project in the world.
DEWA & University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership organise Sustainability Leadership Conference
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising the Sustainability Leadership Conference in cooperation with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, at the Address hotel, Dubai, on 15—16 March 2017. This is part of DEWA’s efforts to promote sustainability in cooperation with international organisations and institutions, and promote all the economic, social, and environmental aspects of sustainable development.
GRI invites DEWA to join the Standards Pioneers program

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has been invited by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) to be part of the Standards Pioneers programme, which brings together the leading global organisations in sustainability, to be among only 100 organisations from around the world to implement GRI's new international standards before it becomes obligatory by the end of June 2018.
