Noor Bank Presents Works by Emirati Artist Fatma Lootah

Noor Bank, the UAE’s leading Shari’ah-compliant bank, is showcasing the works of renowned Emirati artist Fatma Lootah at the Noor Art Gallery on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Running until 1 May, the exhibition offers a glimpse of the artist’s interpretation of femininity and movement. Celebrating Emirati culture and heritage, Lootah’s work combines abstract figurative painting using acrylics and digital art. Her paintings were projected off the iconic NASDAQ building at New York’s Times Square in 2018.

Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and Fujairah Adventures Launches Fujairah Cultured Coral Reef Gardens

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) today launched the Fujairah Cultured Coral Reef Gardens, the largest project of its kind in the UAE, in collaboration with Fujairah Municipality, Dibba Fujairah Municipality and the Fujairah Adventures. In line with the Ministry’s strategy to protect the UAE’s biodiversity and ensure its sustainability, the project is set to include the cultivation of 1.5 million coral reef colonies over the next five years.

The fifth edition of World Art Dubai has concluded on a high as it marked three award ceremonies during the closing days of the show. Heralded as the most successful edition in its five years, the fair placed the spotlight on a range of international and emerging artists and galleries, awarding winners across numerous competitions and awards that took place during the show.
