NATPET to highlight new polypropylene resin grades at K 2016, in collaboration with Haitian, WeiLi & Milliken

  • NATPET to introduce a pair of PP random copolymers at the show
  • Haitian will injection mold a cosmetics cap at its booth using one of those grades
  • WeiLi injection stretch blow molded sports bottles will be given away from NATPET’s stand
  • Various resins incorporate Milliken additives -- its Millad® NX™ 8000 clarifier, and its Hyperform® nucleating agents -- to boost material properties

UAE delegation casts spotlight on development of intellectual property at 56th series of meetings of the World Intellectual Property Organization

A high level delegation from the UAE is currently participating in the 56th series of Meetings of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which opened last October 3 and will run until October 11, 2016 at the WIPO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The sessions to be covered include the General Assembly meeting of WIPO, the Coordinating Committee meeting and several key meetings of associations and unions of WIPO’s 189 member states.

GETEX Autumn to take center stage with International Student Festival

The autumn edition of the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX), the leading student recruitment platform in the Middle East, will be held from November 24 to 26, 2016 at the Meydan Gallery and Convention Centre in Dubai. GETEX Autumn will be co-located with International Student Festival 2016, the UAE’s first-ever show for students that goes beyond education, which will reach out to a multinational, multi-ethnic audience of modern, energetic youth.

Ferrari announces 70th anniversary celebrations at the Paris Motor Show

Ferrari is availing of the Paris Motor Show to announce a series of special initiatives to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the marque’s foundation in 2017.

The celebratory anniversary logo will be unveiled at the event. Its forms are inspired by styling cues of the Prancing Horse cars and the marque’s passion for detail. This is a symbol that encapsulates 70 years of history and points the Ferrari brand to the future. The logo will be used exclusively on a small number of iconic cars.
