Eight sections displaying cartoon works from all over the French-speaking countries are at show at the Jewellery Souk, Beirut Souks. The exhibition «Des Cases et des Hommes » is the result of a competition by the Centre Belge de la Bande Dessinee, which reaches out to all Francophone cartoon artists, and is presented by the embassy of Belgium in Beirut in the context of the Mois de la Francophonie in Lebanon. Belgium in is home to iconic figures in comics, whose work has influenced the discipline across the globe.
