Huawei announced its business results for the first half of 2019:  USD $58.34 billion in revenue, a 23.2% increase over the same period last year. The company's net profit margin for H1 2019 was 8.7%.

According to Huawei's Chairman, Liang Hua, operations are smooth and the organization is as sound as ever. With effective management and an excellent performance across all financial indicators, Huawei's business has remained robust in the first half of 2019.

Continuing a multi-year track record of acceleration, Huawei has ranked 61^st on the Fortune 500 list. This year’s ranking represents an 11 point jump from last year and an impressive 68 point leap from 2017.

Along with the upgraded 48MP Quad camera, users can now enjoy 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Huawei released its 2018 Sustainability Report. It has published this report for the 11th year in a row. The 2018 report explains Huawei's four strategies for sustainability: digital inclusion, security and trustworthiness, environmental protection, and a healthy and harmonious ecosystem.

Kevin Ho, President of Handset Product Line of Huawei Consumer Business Group, said at the MWC Shanghai Global Device Summit that "Huawei’s smartphone shipments reached 100 million units on May 30^th, earlier than that of 2018 when we reached the same volume. The sales volume of P30 series hit 10 million 85 days after its launch. The time we took to reach 10 million unit sales is 62 days less than that for P20 series." It is a record-breaking three months for Huawei flagship devices.

As of June 2019, the new EMUI 9.1 will be available for Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, and Porsche Design Mate 20 RS. Users of these four flagship models can sign up for the upgrade.
