For the fourth consecutive year, ABC Lebanon joins hands with the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) in its #ShinewithHope campaign to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September and raise funds for CCCL, as part of the group’s ongoing commitment to create positive change in the Lebanese society.

A supportive and cheering crowd gathered in ABC Verdun where management and staff from ABC Group and CCCL, ABC clients, media and influencers attended this heartwarming fashion show featuring kids from CCCL and young fashionistas. This unforgettable event proved to be yet another successful edition as it highlighted children’s talents, their passion for fashion, and their love for life while they walked down the runaway. Lebanese singer Aline Lahoud also took the stage and wowed the audience members who sang along to her delightful medley.

Commenting on this event, Mr. Frank-Matthias Kuntermann, CEO of ABC Group said: “It is heartening to see every year the continuous outpouring of support and love from ABC’s loyal clients to children and families at the CCCL. Our partnership with CCCL highlights ABC’s commitment to make a real difference in our community by encouraging others to support the patients, their families and help raise awareness of CCCL’s mission to save the lives of children battling cancer”.

He added: “We hope that Shine with Hope will be a huge success and will stretch beyond this campaign by encouraging others to take positive steps towards sustainable fundraising and help ensure that no child is fighting cancer alone. It is time for us all to stand up and fight back!”, he added.

Since its launch in 2015, Shine with Hope has helped spreading smiles and creating awareness to make a better life possible for children battling cancer and their families, as CCCL solely relies on donations to offer treatments completely free of charge to its young patients. Shops from ABC Department Stores joined the cause and pledged to donate 2% of their profit on sales to increase donations collected for CCCL from the 1st of September to the end of the mentioned month.

The show ended on a high note with a captivating dancing flash mob featuring Lyne Gandour Dance Academy took the stage, keeping the attendees on the dance floor until the very end.
