DEWA opens internal Health & Safety Week

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), opened Health and Safety Week, which is internally organised by DEWA, and is being held across all DEWA branches from 12-15 December 2016. Health and Safety Week is organised to discuss best practices in quality, health safety and environment at work, supporting DEWA’s Integrated Management System (IMS) policy, and its commitment to providing a healthy and safe work environment.

DEWA’s Iftar tent provides for 2,200 people daily during Ramadan

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organises events and activities aimed at promoting Islamic values and traditions, throughout the holy month of Ramadan as part of its continuous efforts to promote communication and collaboration and social cohesion among all its staff. The activities begin with DEWA’s Ramadan Tent, which is located at DEWA’s Head Office, and serves Iftar meals to DEWA staff who are on duty during Maghreb prayers. The Iftar meals are also available to the public of all nationalities, throughout Ramadan.
