Dubai Courts smart app wins ‘Smart Government Shield’ award in Kuwait

Application bests other entries in competition of Arab governments’ smart apps   UAE, 23 March, 2015 - Dubai Courts has revealed that its Dubai Courts Smart Application, the world’s first of its kind judicial based smart services app, has been awarded the ‘Smart Government Shield Award’ at the UAE level category of the 6th Smart Government Competition held in Kuwait.

Stars of Science reaches final stage of search for best young Arab innovator on MBC4

Doha, 9 November 2014- The finalists for Qatar Foundation’s “edutainment reality” program Stars of Science were selected in an exhilarating episode on MBC4 that saw the last two candidates advance to the final round.  In a resounding win, Rania Bou Jaoudeh of Lebanon prevailed in the eyes of the jury to claim a coveted spot in the finals.  Qatari candidate Mohammed Al Housani also advanced, surpassing Saudi Arabia’s Khaled AlSulaim to join Thiab Al Doussary and Sultan Al Sobhi as the season’s four finalists who will compete for $600,000 in prize money on 15 November.

ICDL Arabia reports 24% increase in the enrolment of GCC Nationals

 

UAE, November 4, 2014 – ICDL Arabia, the governing body and certification authority for the ICDL certificate program in Egypt, GCC States and Iraq, has announced that it has registered a 24% increase in the number of GCC applicants enrolling in the New ICDL program so far this year. This is attributed to the New ICDL modules and the flexibility offered in the new structure of the program as introduced earlier this year.
