Russell Peters made his long-awaited return to the UAE with his Deported World Tour, presented by Du Live, and produced by Live Nation Middle East and Flash Entertainment in association with Dubai Calendar, to Coca-Cola Arena on June 6th.
More than 9,000 people witnessed the grand inauguration of the brand-new arena, as the global comedy sensation left fans in tears of laughter with his unique brand of observational comedy over the Eid weekend. He also received a plaque for being the first performer at the Coca-Cola Arena.
The Deported World Tour kicked off in Australia and New Zealand in February 2018. It has already travelled to over 29 cities in 20 countries and been seen by over 100,000 fans worldwide. The tour will continue well into 2019 and Peters will then take an extended break from live touring to focus on other ventures and spend more time at home with his daughter.
