MICHEL ZOGHZOGHI

In the heart of Parisian heritage, at the historic Maison Molière — the final residence of Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, known as Molière,Press Kit 1 and now a listed monument — photographer Michel Zoghzoghi unveils his first solo exhibition in Paris.

For several weeks, this setting, steeped in history, transforms into the stage for a powerful dialogue between image, memory, and commitment.

Entitled “Other Nations: A Journey Through Threatened Kingdoms”, the exhibition was made possible through the support of Tarek Nahas, a collector and photography enthusiast whose unwavering involvement was the driving force behind the project.
Presented in collaboration with Polka, a leading voice in contemporary photography, the exhibition is guided by the curatorial expertise of Marine Bougaran and the production direction of Mirna Maalouf, who together have orchestrated every detail of this artistic journey dedicated to the preservation of wildlife.

Faithful to his enduring commitment to both human and animal causes — from the fight against cancer to the promotion of education to wild conservation — Michel has pledged all the proceeds from the sale of his works during the exhibition to fund scholarships for students at Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour in Beirut.

Michel Zoghzoghi discovered a passion for photography 20 years ago.

He quickly developed a deep fascination with wildlife and apex predators, challenging the anthropomorphic lens that leads us to see them as cruel.Michel Zoghzoghi
From the tigers of India to the polar bears of the Arctic, from the mesmerizing landscapes of Africa to the great white sharks of the Southern Oceans, he has traveled the world in search of the vanishing beauty our planet still has to offer.

His work has been exhibited in Lebanon, France, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. Michel has also received numerous awards and published several photographic books — powerful testaments to his journey, where aesthetics and storytelling merge to offer a singular vision of the animal kingdom.

Conceived as a voyage, his photography explores the relationship between humans and the animal world, urging us to pause and contemplate the fragile beauty of endangered species.

Since the beginning of his photographic journey, Michel Zoghzoghi chose to raise awareness by capturing the beauty of earth’s remaining wilderness. He shows us the perfect harmony and balance of nature to make us understand what is being lost. The unchecked development of modern civilizations has called everything into question. Man has become the alpha predator, but unlike other predators, he doesn’t guard the balance, he threatens it.
