Huawei Scoops Top Awards at IFA 2018

Kirin 980 and HUAWEI AI Cube capture the attention of the world’s biggest consumer tech media for intelligent design and high-end performance

Following the global launch of Huawei’s innovative Kirin 980, HUAWEI AI Cube, Locator and HUAWEI P20 new colors, international technology media have recognized the new products at IFA 2018. The Kirin 980 chipset received 11 top awards for its combination of high performance and energy efficiency, delivering several world-firsts and a significant leap forward on the already impressive Kirin 970. The HUAWEI AI Cube was recognized for its multi-functionality as an AI-powered speaker and 4G router. These awards, 17 in total, reflect Huawei’s ongoing commitment to giving consumers intelligent, powerful and efficient high-end consumer devices to support a fully connected lifestyle.

Android Authority presented the Kirin 980 with a “Best of IFA 2018” award. The new high-end chipset was praised for its impressive performance and energy efficiency. It attracts over 25 million readers monthly.

GadgetMatch also recognized Kirin 980 with a “Best of IFA 2018” award, stating that “Huawei takes artificial intelligence seriously in its products” and highlighting its Dual-NPU for improved AI capabilities.
