COLORTEK, the international paints brand manufacturer, participated as Platinum sponsor in Beirut Design Week from May 20 till May 29, 2016, in KED Karantina Beirut. The largest growing design festival in the Middle East & North Africa, held under the theme of sustainable growth, provided COLORTEK with the ideal platform to showcase its range of safe and sustainable decorative finishes as well as its extensive range of products specifically formulated to provide Beirut’s designer community with safe and innovative technologies.
In the presence of media representatives, leading design professionals, architects, and various artists, COLORTEK’s representatives demonstrated the versatility and creative possibilities of its decorative paints and resin coatings. Held in KED’s conference room, the workshop, allowed attendees to experiment first-hand the singularity and simplicity of COLORTEK’S products while the brand’s technical department representatives assisted them in the process.
Mr. Yahya Kassaa, COLORTEK’s Chief Executive Officer, expressed his enjoyment in COLORTEK’s participation in one of the most artistic events of the year, saying, “Our products are design oriented, and this occasion will contribute more in showcasing COLORTEK’s various ingenious products, and efficiency in their implementation”, adding,” COLORTEK will constantly push forward in paint innovation in order to increase its contribution for the design society.”
Awarded various certificates such as the Greenguard Gold Standard by UL Environment, Performance Certifications by Master’s Paint Institute, and a R&D department that operates under ASTM International Standards, in addition to ISO certification for quality control for the manufacturing plants, COLORTEK earned its recognition across the EMEA through successful projects in Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain, KSA, Morocco and Lebanon. The earned quality and safety credentials has placed COLORTEK products on the major specifications lists due to their contribution to LEED and other sustainability rating systems such as GSAS, BREAM and ESTIDAMA.
