DEWA receives over 3,000 electronic job applications during its participation in Careers UAE 2016

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received over 3,000 job applications during its participation in Careers UAE from 16-18 May 2016. This year, DEWA used a live online evaluation mechanism of applications that is approved by the UK Evaluation Society. DEWA is the first government organisation to adopt this method of evaluation, which involves online tests designed for different roles and specialisations, as well as tests for students applying for DEWA’s scholarship programme.

DEWA’s participation is part of its ongoing efforts to recruit skilled Emiratis. This year, DEWA is introducing a mechanism to directly recruit Emiratis for engineering and technical positions.
