LACOSTE UNVEILS THE NOVAK DJOKOVIC COLLECTION AND ITS TEAM’S OUTFITS FOR SPRING 2019
LACOSTE UNVEILS THE NOVAK DJOKOVIC COLLECTION AND ITS TEAM’S OUTFITS FOR SPRING 2019 NEW PLAYERS IN THE LACOSTE TEAM Lacoste unveils the outfits to be worn by Novak Djokovic, the brand’s ambassador and world number one, at the year’s first Grand Slam tournament, and by the “Team Lacoste” players through to the Miami Open. An athletic collection dominated by blues, black and white which elegantly combines style and performance.066_LACOSTE-SS19_PIERRE-HUGUES-HERBERT_LOOK-BOOK-300x200.jpg Novak Djokovic collection For Novak Djokovic’s entry onto on the courts in Melbourne, LACOSTE has developed two ultra-modern outfits which combine electric blue with white. Designed to allow free movement, the materials are light and airy and the cuts are ergonomic. A broken line print inspired by the theme of speed gives the illusion of perspective on the front of the stretch technical jersey polo shirt. This is coordinated with stretch taffeta shorts with contrasting piping, a stretch technical midlayer zipped jacket and a cap. Team LACOSTE collection for Spring-Summer 2019 For men, the outline of the LACOSTE team’s outfits is as technical as it is trendy and guarantees optimum playing comfort and an immediately recognisable look. This new collection favours sporty cuts and airy stretch materials such as ultra-dry piqué, mesh or taffeta.  In terms of graphics, a dark blue creative print consisting of textured and shaded diagonal lines appears as an all-over pattern on a zip-neck black polo or decorates the top of a white polo. A touch of fantasy emphasised by the sobriety of black or white stretch taffeta shorts. For women, LACOSTE opts for a feminine look. The transparency of coral and blue printed mesh yokes decorates the athletic back and neckline of a skater dress and an open double-strap tank top or the box pleat of a technical jersey skirt. More timeless, the white pleated skirt is worn with a turquoise technical jersey T-shirt embellished by mesh yokes on the sides and a rounded white band which structures its back. 068_LACOSTE-SS19_PIERRE-HUGUES-HERBERT_LOOK-BOOK-200x300.jpg New 2019 recruits to bring the Team Lacoste collection to Melbourne Anett Kontaveit (Estonia) 20th World is a 23-year-old professional player. Bernarda Pera (USA) is a young gun of 24 years. Born in Croatia, Bernarda as Anett, is part of this young generation with strong potential who will be tough enough to come to shove the top of the ranking. To further this pool of young players, Lacoste is also proud to welcome the young Swiss Jil Teichmann Marius Copil, from Romania, is the perfect ambassador of the Lacoste group as this powerful player plays with the Tecnifibre rackets and will carry the Team Lacoste collection next week during the Australian tournament.
