The world-class hospitality and entertainment destination reports 96% average occupancy rates in Q1 2018, achieving strong year-on-year growth, driven by a guest-focused vision

Exhibiting under the umbrella of Kerzner International, the global developer and operator of destination resorts and luxury hotels, visitors can discover Atlantis, One&Only and Mazagan Resorts at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, from 22nd – 25th April.

Atlantis, The Palm remains one of the most popular resorts in Dubai and UAE, welcoming guests from across the world. With average occupancy in Q1 2018 reaching 96%, compared to 92.6% during the same period in 2017, the resort’s 2018 business strategy will continue to focus on the UK and Europe whilst re-energising the German market and driving visitor growth from Russia as well as long-haul destinations such as the US and Australia. The strategy will also aim to maintain the resorts market leadership positon in China and India by focusing on attracting families for longer stays.

In April 2018, Atlantis unveiled the completion of two new children’s areas, the first a mini Atlantis-themed play area located next to the terraces of Bread Street Kitchen & Bar and Ronda Locatelli, and the second, ‘Splashers Island’ located in Aquaventure Waterpark, featuring 20 new water attractions and seven waterslides, as well as the addition of a giant dry-play structure. Both areas have been designed exclusively for families. Atlantis, The Palm is also currently undergoing a $100m refurbishment of all 1539 rooms and suites, which began on 4th July 2017. Progress continues at pace, with 400 standard rooms and 50 suites having been completed to date, across eight floors. These are just some of many announcements and business updates being made by Atlantis, The Palm, over the course of ATM 2018.

The two-storey ATM structure is showcasing Kerzner International’s global portfolio and latest developments. It spans 215sqm, (10m x 21.5m), and is located at Stand HC0230 in the Sheikh Saeed Arena. Guests to the stand will get a real-time glimpse into life at Atlantis and One&Only resorts, courtesy of a giant, 5m x 3m LED wall, featuring live social media streams, and guests to the stand will have the chance to win a 3-night stay at Atlantis, The Palm when posting on Instagram, using #MyAtlantisATM.

Inspired by the mesmerising Ambassador Lagoon at Atlantis, the stand’s mezzanine level features four salt water aquariums filled with colourful marine life and Atlantean artefacts. The stand also houses a cascading waterfall and kinetic light sculpture, designed specifically for ATM. For those looking to immerse themselves into the world of Kerzner International, the stand offers cutting-edge VR technology for guests to enjoy the ultimate on-stand, resort experiences. Atlantis in 360° can be discovered from within the Virtual Reality Dome, whether sliding down the Leap of Faith, or diving with sharks. Visitors can also choose to unlock the sights, sounds and taste of One&Only’s Urban, Beach and Nature properties from around the world, as well as taking virtual, private home tours to experience the ultimate in luxury resort living, all via an interactive display shelf.

Partners of Atlantis, One&Only and Mazagan Resorts visiting the stand can indulge in a bespoke menu, curated by award-winning Chef, Grégoire Berger of Ossiano, recently named the world's 10th best chef at the prestigious Best Chef awards. For those looking to take a break from walking the halls of ATM, there will also be fresh coffee available and specially brewed by a master barista from illy’s University of Coffee in Italy.
