Alfardan Group a Strategic Partner for the 2016 CSR Conference in Qatar

St. Regis Doha served as the Strategic Hospitality Partner

    On 7th and 8th December 2016, Alfardan Group hosted the 4th CSR Conference in Qatar at Al Gassar Ballroom, in the St. Regis Doha. The event was organized by Dar Al Sharq and was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Abdulla Bin Saoud Al Thani, Qatar Central Bank Governor. It focused on strategy development and business performance support in the framework of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Furthermore, in line with its steadfast commitment towards initiatives that help cultivate a sustainable future for the country, Afardan Group served as a Strategic Partner for the conference, which also featured the launch of the 2016 edition of the CSR White Book, an annual publication that highlights leading CSR activities. The CSR White Book is a vital project that aims to promote the importance of community service and the pursuit of ethical business practices. Alfardan Group has consistently supported the project and participated as a Gold Sponsor of the 2015 edition.

Launched in 2013, CSR Qatar was developed as a platform to connect CSR professionals with experts from companies across the region in an effort to provide a networking opportunity that will lead to a dynamic and fruitful dialogue. The event and the book showcased the CSR strategies of leading companies within the region and encouraged a dialogue on challenges and opportunities facing CSR professionals.
