THE KILLERS TO HEADLINE SUNDAY NIGHT YASALAM AFTER-RACE CONCERT AT 2019 ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX

Yas Marina Circuit and FLASH Entertainment have announced the next global music superstars to perform at this year’s Yasalam After-Race Concert as part of the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2019.

American rockers The Killers will bring their world beating catalogue of massive hits including “Mr Brightside”, “Somebody Told Me”, “When You Were Young”, “Human”, “Runaways”, “The Man” and more to the du Arena, Yas Island, on Sunday 1st December.

YAS MARINA CIRCUIT TO CONTINUE ITS POPULAR COMMUNITY FITNESS EVENTS DURING SUMMER SEASON

Yas Marina Circuit will continue to operate its popular community health and fitness events with minor revisions to timings in order to provide flexible morning and evening options for people to continue training during the hotter summer months.

Effective from 23rd June 2019 until 28th September 2019, the summer calendar will see Tuesday evenings’ TrainYAS session continue to welcome cyclists and runners of all abilities from 6pm to 10pm.

SCHOOL STUDENTS TO CHALLENGE IN ANNUAL FORMULA ETHARA CHALLENGE AT YAS MARINA CIRCUIT

Teams of school students from across the UAE and Oman are preparing to battle for a place on the winners’ podium at this year’s Formula Ethara National Finals competition.

This weekend a total of 50 teams, made up of 191 students from 24 schools, will take part in the annual event that sees youngsters race scale model paper race cars using skills learned in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) classes.
