Global technology leader Xiaomi held a successful Mi Fan Festival sale in Egypt on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Cairo City Stars Mall, offering its customers with an exclusive range of attractive discounts and special offers of up to EGP 2,000. The exciting deals covered a range of select products available at its first Authorized Mi Store, while top-notch gadgets and other items were showcased during its flash sales on Souq and Jumia scheduled on the same day.
The festival also included a fun party where a famous local band played the most popular modern music at its Cairo store to liven up the mood, while a huge 10m cake was prominently displayed in the area.
Among the featured discounted Xiaomi products and accessories at the Authorized Mi Store during the event were Mi Powerbank 10000mAH; Mi Vr; Mi Band 2; Mi Scale 1; Mi Sphere 360 Cam; Mi Notebooks; headphones; Mi Water Purifier; battery; Mi Mouse; selfie stick; selfie stick tripod, and many more. On the other hand, Mi Max 2, Mi 6, Redmi 5a, and Redmi Note 5a units were sold at a bargained price during the online flash sales all throughout the day.
Xiaomi has been trying to become one of the top brands since its launch in Egypt in May 2017. It is eyeing to open 20 Authorized Mi Stores by the end of the current year to add to its over 2,000 points of sale located across the country. Xiaomi ranks number 1 by market share in India and number 4 globally by volume. It is the fastest-growing company globally by volume.
