Renault Exceeds its Sales Record in Lebanon in 2014
Beirut - The Renault Group brands, Renault and Dacia, represented in Lebanon by Bassoul-Heneine, have seen their sales soar to a level unequalled since the end of the war in Lebanon. With a total of 2,377 vehicles sold in 2014, the Renault Group brands are today at the top of the sales board for European cars brands in the Lebanese market. Leaders in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment, the Group’s brands show a record sales volume increase, with 406 vehicles sold, despite the downturn in activity seen in this segment of the automobile market. These exceptional results have been achieved thanks to the infallible quality of Renault and Dacia vehicles, and the extensive effort of the Renault network throughout Lebanon. Mia Bassoul, Marketing Director for the Renault Group brands, and Associate Partner at Bassoul-Heneine, is enthusiastic to the results of the year 2014: “We are extremely satisfied with the results of this year. This excellent outcome is notably due to the constant efforts of the parent company which consistently innovates and perfects their vehicles, without compromise on quality."
