Ericsson collaborates with IEEE to support Lebanese engineering students

Ericsson signed today a strategic collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Lebanon Section in a signing ceremony held at the American University in Beirut (AUB).

The celebration was signed with the ambition to sustain the advancement of technology and promote the different collaborations and initiatives between Ericsson and IEEE for university students in Lebanon.

Ericsson was represented by its Country Manager, Tony Abboud who gave a speech on this occasion. Abboud said,”We are honored today at AUB to be part of this efficient collaboration whereby we help students to visualize their future in the telecom and engineering profession.”

IEEE Lebanon Section was represented by its Chairman, Dr. Imad El Hajj, commenting ”We look forward to a very impactful collaboration with Ericsson where we improve collaboration between academia, professional societies and the industry for the benefit of students, the profession and society at large”.
