Supreme Council of Energy issues Directive number 1 of 2017 on the establishment and installation of electric vehicle charging stations in Dubai

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, has issued Directive number 1 of 2017 on the establishment and installation of electric vehicle charging stations in Dubai. This directive states that all public and private organisations and developers in Dubai must get approvals from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) before establishing, installing, operating or maintaining any electric vehicle charging station.

Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and DEWA announce venue for Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, and MD & CEO of DEWA, has announced that the Solar Decathlon Middle East will be organised at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The announcement was made at a press conference at the World Government Summit in Dubai, where DEWA is its sustainable partner.

Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and FANR organise awareness workshop on nuclear energy strategy

Dubai Supreme Council of Energy organised a workshop to introduce the National programme to produce electricity using peaceful nuclear energy. The workshop, organised in collaboration with the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR), promotes nuclear energy and encouraged closer collaboration within the public sector for it.
