‘Authority of Public Resources at Ras Al Khaimah’ signs MoU with ‘Emirates Auction’

Major-General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the RAK Police, and Jamal Ahmad Al Teir, Chairman of Authority of Public Resources at Ras Al Khaimah, have recently attended the signing ceremony for the agreement between the ‘Authority of Public Resources at RAK’ and ‘Emirates Auction’ at Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Under the terms of the agreement, ‘Emirates Auction’ will organize public auctions to sell distinct plate numbers on behalf of the ‘Authority of Public Resources at RAK’.

 The MoU was signed by Eng. Yahya Jaber Al Shamsi, Acting Director General of the Authority of Public Resources at Ras Al Khaimah, and H.E. Abdullah Matar Al Mannaei, Managing Director of Emirates Auction.

 Eng. Al Shamsi said the agreement is part of the Authority’s efforts to provide outstanding services to the public in accordance with the highest international standards and offer equal opportunities for all individuals, especially for those interested in buying distinct plate numbers for their vehicles. He said that the Authority of Public Resources at Ras Al Khaimah partnered with Emirates Auction, the UAE’s largest and most prestigious auction company, to sell distinct plate numbers for its proven track of auctioning off the same with remarkable results in addition to its renowned reputation as a leading local auctioneer.

 Eng. Al Shamsi added that the agreement is aligned with the Authority’s policy and strategy to form local and international partnerships to achieve its goals and plans.  The MoU outlines the scope of the agreement as partners in strategic objectives, partners in operations and services, and partners in exchange of experiences and knowledge. The collaboration forms part of the Authority of Public Resources’ objectives this year in line with its mission to uphold public interest.

 For his part, H.E. Abdullah Al Mannaei said the agreement will mutually benefit both parties especially in terms of achieving their set targets. All distinct plate numbers will be sold via online and physical auctions to enable bidders from the UAE and the rest of the world to easily join in the auction at their own convenience. Emirates Auction is renowned in the UAE for successfully auctioning off distinct plate numbers on behalf of various government entities in the country.
