American Hospital Dubai presents new advances in ENT surgery at Middle East Otolaryngology Conference and Exhibition

Conference adds new track to include ear implants with electronic devices

The American Hospital Dubai is participating at the 13th edition of the Annual Middle East Otolaryngology Conference and Exhibition (ME-OTO) to present the latest trends in otolaryngology or the surgical treatment of ear, nose and throat (ENT) diseases, which will run until May 26, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

ME-OTO is the largest meeting of otolarygologists and medical professionals in the region specializing in ENT including ear surgeons, otorhinolarynlogists rhinoplasty surgeons, neurotologists, pediatricians, speech and audio therapists, among others. The event will examine the latest developments in rhinology, head & neck, rhinoplasty, otology and audiology, with additional focus on a new track concerning Cochlear implants or the surgical implanting of electronic devices to replace the function of damaged parts in the ear.

Dr.  Muazz Tarabichi, Chairman of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology and Chairman of the Otology Program at the American Hospital Dubai, will be leading the session as keynote speaker for the ‘1st World Congress on Cochlear Implants in Emerging Countries’.
