The Epsilon association, which supports people with epilepsy in Lebanon, organized a hike in Abdelli (Caza of Batroun) to raise money for a child suffering from epilepsy. Approximately 150 people took part in this hike which was followed by a lunch and a wine degustation. The generated benefits will be used to fund the chirurgical intervention that the child needs “as soon as possible”.

The association, which was founded in October 2013, reminded that “assisting patients and their families medically, socially and psychologically, as well as defending their rights to improve their lifestyle” figure in their objectives. In addition, the association said that it works to “improve the image of epilepsy, educate the public and spread medical information about this disease”. It also provides “a financial contribution (or other) to patients, which covers the cost of medicines, certain tests and the epilepsy surgery”.
