DEWA’s Iftar tent provides for 2,200 people daily during Ramadan

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organises events and activities aimed at promoting Islamic values and traditions, throughout the holy month of Ramadan as part of its continuous efforts to promote communication and collaboration and social cohesion among all its staff. The activities begin with DEWA’s Ramadan Tent, which is located at DEWA’s Head Office, and serves Iftar meals to DEWA staff who are on duty during Maghreb prayers. The Iftar meals are also available to the public of all nationalities, throughout Ramadan.

DEWA’s Women’s Committee launches ‘Happier, Healthier, and Prettier Employee’ initiative for female staff

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA’s) Women’s Committee has launched the ‘Happier, Healthier, and Prettier Employee’ initiative for its female staff. The initiative was launched at the Women’s Committee’s meeting at DEWA’s main office in Zabeel East. It was chaired by Khawla Al Mehairi, Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications at DEWA, and Chairperson of DEWA’s Women’s Committee.

DEWA celebrates World Water Day

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is celebrating World Water Day with environmental activities to support international efforts to protect natural resources. World Water Day takes place every 22 March and this year’s theme is ‘Better water, better jobs.’ World Water Day raises awareness about the importance of sustainable development.
